MURRILL, EAKES & COMPANY, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS
Murrill, Eakes & Company is a locally-owned CPA firm which provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to small, privately-held businesses, and their owners. The firm was originally formed in 1983 and recently purchased by the current partners in 1994. Our mission is to provide clients a hands-on approach to quality personal service, close attention to detail, at reasonable prices.
Because each small business faces a unique set of challenges, you need advisors who understand your goals and objectives. At Murrill, Eakes & Company, we offer a tailored approach to serving your needs with our partner-led client service team. The partner on your team maintains a personal level of communication directly with you and stays involved with your account at all times. In addition, other members of the firm become familiar with your company, and personal situation. This approach ensures that someone familiar with your particular situation is always available when necessary.
We serve our clients by establishing an on-going, long-term relationship with them. This includes open communication, and active participation, by both the client and our firm. We encourage regular meetings with you to help run your business. We also have a bias towards practical solutions for your business. Although not always possible, we like to keep things simple. This way, you will feel more comfortable with our advice, and can again focus on running your business.
To help maintain quality, we are members of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and California Society of CPA’s. We are also members of the AICPA divisions for taxation, and management consulting. All professionals in the firm are required to attend a minimum of 40 hours of continued education each year. Our firm also undergoes a periodic quality review by another CPA firm every two years as required for membership in the AICPA.
